Upper extremity complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) (2018)

Our client initially injured his low back and right upper extremity throwing clippings away in 2012. Client underwent surgery for his wrist injury and subsequently developed a severe case of CRPS. Our office was eventually able to get the opposite wrist, psyche, both legs, the jaw and stomach admitted. Defendant eventually conceded to 100% permanent total disability. We also got our client 24-hour home health care.

TBI from hit in the head with hammer (2016)

Our client was intentionally struck in the head with a hammer by a subcontractor on a job site in 2009. Client suffered a TBI with severe psychological disability. We fought to get the defendant to concede to 100% permanent total disability. We also fought to get our client 24-hour home health care.

In addition to the above workers’ compensation settlement, our firm referred the applicant to a personal injury firm for the third-party aspect of the case. We worked diligently with that office to obtain a policy limit personal injury settlement for $800,000. We were also able to get the workers’ compensation defendant to waive their credit to the personal injury case under the applicant’s workers’ compensation settlement.
